The Numbers on the Arkansas River is one of the best sections of white water rafting in Colorado if you are looking for a fun, action packed, non-stop ride. This class IV intermediate to advanced rafting trip is great for experienced rafters or adventurous first timers. Participants should be in good physical condition and ready to paddle! The Numbers half day section has 7 major rapids, numbered off one through seven (real original names, I know) but that’s not all, there are plenty of other rapids in-between the major ones. This section is very continuous without much down time. Not only is this section exciting but it is beautiful too. There are many majestic views of the Collegiate Peaks and the Mosquito mountain range located just north of Buena Vista, Colorado. Trip times are at 10 am and 12:45 pm out of our Buena Vista outpost. We recommend participants to be 15 years old or older. Free wetsuit, splash top and river shoe rentals are included. We are sure to give you and your group the thrill of a lifetime with this rafting tour.

The Numbers section of the Arkansas River offers some of the greatest white water rafting in Colorado and in the country!  This Buena Vista white water rafting trip will show you the meaning of excitement. Experience 13 miles of continuous class IV+ rapids that are sure to provide a heart pounding and adrenaline pumping adventure. If you’re looking for big drops, splashes and non-stop action then this is the rafting trip for you. Pay close attention your expert guide as he instructs and maneuvers the raft with the help of your paddles through the steep drops and narrow channels. Try not to miss the majestic views of the Collegiate Peaks as you navigate eight Class IV+ exciting rapids and continuous whitewater before lunch. Take a much needed break and catch your breath while enjoying a delicious riverside lunch prepared for you by your guide. We continue the excitement down stream as you raft The Narrows section, also known as Wild Horse Canyon, and tackling six more Class III-IV rapids.  Your trip concludes in our town’s favorite spot, the Buena Vista white water play park.  Up for another challenge?  Your guide can surely be talked into surfing the play wave! On these specialty trips, we load your group in our mini rafts that are 10 feet long with smaller tubes, putting you closer to the water.  There’s only room for 3 plus a guide, so choose your teammates wisely.  Or better yet, split your group and take out 2 mini’s!  Traveling solo?  Not a problem, we’ll pair you with an expert guide for an ultra personal whitewater experience.  These little rafts are so maneuverable, they make for a great run down any section.  Guaranteed fun and a wet and wild ride! On day one you will raft the fun and challenging Numbers class IV section and continue through the Narrows. After lunch you will continue to your camp site in Browns Canyon National Monument. This trip is for experienced paddlers and adrenaline seekers over 16!On this two day Arkansas River overnight rafting trip you will raft through the infamous Pine Creek class V, Numbers class IV and Browns Canyon class III sections. Day one is action packed starting up at the Granite Gorge and making your way through Pine Creek and the Numbers. This section is narrow with steep drops and pour overs. Pine Creek rapid itself is a continuous 1.5 miles long rapid dropping 200 feet per mile. You will camp towards the top of Browns Canyon in the National Monument wilderness area. After getting to camp you will have time to celebrate, explore, hike, fish or just relax as our guides prepare a feast for your group. After a good nights sleep, under the stars or in a tent, you will continue your rafting adventure through Browns Canyon National Monument. There are still many fun class III+ rapids to come during the final leg of your voyage! Day 1

Our Raft-N-Ducky Combo Trip offers the complete whitewater experience! Rafting Colorado’s famous Browns Canyon or Numbers section in the morning, midday enjoy a delicious riverside lunch prepared by your guide. Now you’re refueled and ready to jump in an Inflatable Kayak! Your guide will teach you basic kayaking skills and lead you down the Arkansas River. Choose the intensity level that’s appropriate for your group. Browns Canyon is a great trip for all ability levels, it is class III+. If you are looking for more of a challenge pick The Numbers our class IV section. You can’t go wrong either way.
