Half Day Inflatable Kayaking

Inflatable kayaks (aka duckies) are a fun and exciting adventure! Our duckies are open and easily maneuverable and they offer a totally different experience on the river than rafting. Sitting low on the Arkansas River gives you a new vantage point and makes even small waves into big events; it’s a great adventure even with low water! These trips are customized to your group and ability level. Our guides will show you the ropes and teach you proper kayaking techniques as you learn how to steer yourself through mellow rapids or challenge some of the skills you’ve acquired in the past. We cater to the first timer and the experienced kayaker alike and choose the section of river best suited to your group. Take a morning trip, meeting at 9 am, or an afternoon excursion at 1 pm. A half day trip allows enough time to enjoy hiking and climbing nearby or enjoy a leisurely lunch in Buena Vista! All of our kayaking trips provide everything you need for an unforgettable river adventure: your very own inflatable kayak, paddle, wetsuit, booties, splash jacket, life jacket, and helmet. Tandem kayaks are available, but we highly recommend maneuvering your own vessel. Every trip is guided by an experienced and certified Browns Canyon Rafting guidewho will accompany you down river, teach you to steer your way through the rapids and be there if you end up taking a dip in the river. Kayaking is physically demanding and all participants should be in good physical condition.

Ready for adventure? Ready for fun? The excitement begins as you jump on top of your own inflatable kayak, aka “ducky”, and start running the river in your own boat. Kayaks are an amazing adventure for any size family or group. Our duckies are open and easily maneuverable and they offer a totally different experience on the river than rafting! Rapids feel bigger being that close to the water. You will be in charge of your own boat on this guided tour. Your guide will go over best techniques and procedures for reading the river and maneuvering your ducky downstream. He or she will be with you throughout the trip to show you the best route and run safety incase you go for a swim. We cater to first timers and experienced kayakers alike and choose the section of river best suited for your group. We have easy to advanced sections. Inflatable kayaking is physically demanding and all participants should be in good physical condition. Each Browns Canyon Rafting kayak trip provides everything you need for an unforgettable river adventure including: your very own kayak, paddle, wetsuit, booties, splash jacket, life jacket, and helmet. Numbers and Browns Canyon 2 Day Trip

At Browns Canyon Rafting, we believe that there is nothing in the world like overnight white water rafting in Colorado, and this is our favorite. On day one you will raft the fun and challenging Numbers class IV section and continue through the Narrows. After lunch you will continue to your camp site in Browns Canyon National Monument. Great secluded camp sites! Day two you will raft through the rest of the fun Browns Canyon section. This overnight is great for thrill seekers and adventurous first timers! All meals from lunch on day one to lunch on day two are provided and use high quality ingredients, you won’t go hungry. We are always happy to accommodate special dietary needs and special requests. At camp enjoy games, hikes, fishing, or just relax while your guides set up camp. The Arkansas River is truly beautiful, with breathtaking views of Colorado’s famous fourteen thousand foot peaks, and of course, fun rapids. Pine Creek 2 Day Rafting Trips - Browns Canyon Rafting

Pine Creek 2-Day Overnight Trip

This trip is for experienced paddlers and adrenaline seekers over 16!On this two day Arkansas River overnight rafting trip you will raft through the infamous Pine Creek class V, Numbers class IV and Browns Canyon class III sections. Day one is action packed starting up at the Granite Gorge and making your way through Pine Creek and the Numbers. This section is narrow with steep drops and pour overs. Pine Creek rapid itself is a continuous 1.5 miles long rapid dropping 200 feet per mile. You will camp towards the top of Browns Canyon in the National Monument wilderness area. After getting to camp you will have time to celebrate, explore, hike, fish or just relax as our guides prepare a feast for your group. After a good nights sleep, under the stars or in a tent, you will continue your rafting adventure through Browns Canyon National Monument. There are still many fun class III+ rapids to come during the final leg of your voyage! Day 1
