The price for the Browns Canyon Half Day rafting trip is $106 per person. This includes your professional river guide, safety gear (helmet, PFD, paddle), and transportation to and from the river from our Buena Vista Outpost.

This whitewater adventure lasts approximately 3.5 hours, covering about 10 miles through the heart of Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River. It’s the perfect half-day option for anyone looking to experience Colorado rafting without committing to a full day on the water.

The Browns Canyon Half Day trip features exciting Class III to low Class IV rapids. This stretch is well-known for its fun, splashy waves and scenic views — making it one of the most popular intermediate rafting trips in Colorado.

To participate, guests must be at least 7 years old and 50 pounds. Please note that during early-season high water (May–early June), minimum age requirements may increase for safety. Contact us before booking if you’re unsure.

This trip runs May through Labor Day, depending on Arkansas River water levels. Spring and early summer typically offer higher flows and a bit more excitement, while late summer provides warmer temperatures and gentler rapids.
