Clear Creek Advanced Full Day Trip
Raft all of Clear Creek!
Advanced Full Day Rafting Near Denver
Our Clear Creek Advanced full day whitewater rafting trip is a company favorite and longest rafting trip offered on Clear Creek. Not only is the lower canyon the most exciting whitewater in the area, but also the most scenic section of the Creek as well. We will guide you through all of the sections available starting with a “warm up” in the intermediate section, navigating rapids such as Phoenix, Deliverance and Outer Limits with continuous and nonstop water in between.
As we come into the historic town of Idaho Springs, we will make a detour and stop for a delicious barbecue lunch with our partners at Smokin Yard’s! It’s a company and town favorite. You’ll need the fuel before entering the lower Canyon, the advanced class IV-V stretch. No need to worry though. We give you time to digest and warm up with a few miles of calm and class III rapids prior to the big stuff!
First up in the class IV category is Beaver Falls, a back to back double rapid. Other class IV rapids include Tricky Dick and Guide Ejector. Better get your game face on and paddle hard as we begin the class V rapid section! Rapids such as Double Knife, Hell’s Half Mile and Hell’s Corner will be sure to give you the thrill of a lifetime. We’re sure that this is some of the most exciting whitewater in Colorado.
This is a physically demanding trip, good physical condition and previous rafting experience highly recommended.
Clear Creek is located only 30 minutes from Denver and one hour from Boulder, Breckenridge, Keystone, Summit County and Winter Park. Clear Creek has a unique Colorado rafting experience to offer everyone. From children 6 and up on the beginner stretch to the first timer and even experienced rafter on the intermediate trip, and of course the thrill seeker looking to go on our advanced trip!
