Breckenridge Rafting
Breckenridge Colorado is a wonderful year round destination offering a world class ski resort in the winter and a plethora of fun activities in the summer. Breckenridge is the oldest and biggest town in Summit County and many of our guides call Breckenridge home for the winter. When thinking of Colorado mountain towns Breckenridge’s quaint main street is the first thing that comes to mind. This is a truly great family resort.
When it comes to Breckenridge’s summer activities there are many to choose from; hiking Mount Quandary, down hill mountain biking at the resort, fly fishing the Blue River and of course white water rafting; to name a few. We do offer a few options for white water rafting near Breckenridge. Both of our locations are approximately one hour from Breckenridge, we recommend coming to our Buena Vista location on the world famous Arkansas River.
The Arkansas River has great whitewater rafting options from family friendly floats, to great class III family friendly whitewater through Browns Canyon National Monument, to more challenging runs like The Numbers or Pine Creek. There is truly an option for everyone.
The drive from Breckenridge to our Buena Vista location has breath taking views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and quant towns through South Park County. From Breckenridge take Highway 9 South towards Blue River, take a right in Fairplay on Hwy 285 South and travel for approximately 35 miles, turn right onto Hwy 24 W towards Buena Vista, we are located on the opposite side of town (north) approximately 1.5 miles north of the only stop light in Buena Vista on the left hand side, 30375 Hwy 24.
