Escape your worries and the busy-ness of city life to go white water rafting in Buena Vista, CO. Here nature welcomes you to have fun with your family and relax riverside at our wilderness campsites.

Day 1: Meet at Browns Canyon Rafting at our Buena Vista, CO outpost at 10am.  We provide you with: dry bags, state of the art camping equipment, and all your rafting gear.  Just show up with your personal items (clothes, toiletries, etc.) and a sleeping bag. Traveling light? Don’t worry; we have sleeping bags available for rent.

Your Colorado white water rafting adventure begins splashing down the Narrows section of the Arkansas River, an exciting, class III section, upstream from Browns Canyon.  Break at midday for a delicious riverside lunch, prepared by your guide, before floating into the newly designated Browns Canyon National Monument.

The fun continues when you arrive at your secluded campsite. Hike, play games, and soak in the scenery of the Browns Canyon wilderness. Fish in our gold medal waters. Relax as your guides set up camp and prepare a gourmet dinner.  At night tell stories around the campfire, gaze at the vast sky brimming with bright stars, and let the rippling river lull you to sleep.

Day 2: Wake to the sounds of nature and the smell of fresh coffee brewing. Refuel with a hearty breakfast before continuing your whitewater voyage. Rumble down rapids, soak up the sun, laugh, paddle, and enjoy new and wild vistas, and dine on gourmet camp cuisine under the sun, moon and stars.

Day 3: Sit back, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the lower Collegiate Peaks. Buena Vista river rafting takes a milder tone today. You can float downstream, immersed in tranquility, or learn to kayak in one of our inflatable kayak “duckies.” More stable than the hard shell kayaks, stretch out in the one person raft and experience the river from a different vantage point. Your guide will teach you proper techniques, show you the best routes, and watch out for you as you navigate your own inflatable kayak down the river. (Please let us know if you are interested in adding duckies to your trip.) Conclude your adventure at our Buena Vista outpost between 3 and 4 pm.

Trips meet at our Buena Vista outpost at 10am from late April through Labor Day Weekend.

Minimum recommended age 7 & 50 pounds.

Minimum 4 people. If less than 4 please call, we may be able to add you to an existing trip.

Included in the price is:
-All food starting with lunch the first day and ending with lunch the last day
-All rafting equipment and guides
-Wetsuit Package (wetsuit, splash top, booties)
-Dry bags
-Camping equipment (tent, chairs, coolers, tables, etc)
-Transportation to and from the river and our outpost
