This trip is for experienced paddlers and adrenaline seekers over 16! On this three day Arkansas River overnight rafting trip you will raft through the infamous Pine Creek class V, Numbers, Narrows, Browns Canyon and Upper Big Horn Sheep Canyon sections.
Day one is action packed starting up at the Granite Gorge and making your way through Pine Creek and the Numbers. This section is narrow with steep drops and pour overs. Pine Creek rapid itself is a continuous 1.5 mile long rapid dropping 200 feet per mile.
You will camp towards the top of Browns Canyon in the National Monument. After getting to camp you will have time to celebrate, explore, hike, fish or just relax as your guides prepare a feast for your group.
After a good nights sleep, under the stars or in a tent, you will continue your rafting adventure through Browns Canyon National Monument. There are still many fun class III+ rapids throughout the day before reaching camp two. Your final day through Upper Big Horn Sheep Canyon is mellower than the rest. If you still want more action you can jump into one of our inflatable kayaks (duckies) and guide yourself down river. These duckies are one person sit on top crafts that you will maneuver alongside your guide in their own kayak.
